The Problem & Purpose

Across the world, the systems that keep us alive — soil, water, energy, food, and the webs of biodiversity that hold them together — are being degraded faster than they're being restored. Most young people are taught to worry about this. Very few are taught how to actually do something about it, at a scale they can act on themselves.

Regenerators is built on the belief that a young person, given real tools and real time, can find a broken system near them and make a measurable difference — not a poster about the problem, but a working, evidenced intervention in it.

Driving Question

“What is broken in the systems around me — in my home, my community, or my planet — and what would it take for me to help regenerate it?”

Realize → Innovate → Strategize → Execute → Legacy & Showcase

Five genuine phases across 28 weeks — not a rushed sequence, but time enough to actually run something and gather real before/after evidence.

Choose Your Arena

At the end of Week 6, every learner chooses where their regenerative work will happen. All three arenas follow the same structure and produce the same calibre of evidence — only the context changes.

Home & Family Arena

Tackle a real system inside your own household — food waste, energy, water, or consumption — and lead your family through a genuine change.

Community & Town Arena

Find an opportunity in a local green space, school, or business, and design and deliver a real intervention with support.

Global Issue Arena

Adopt a global regenerative issue, trace its supply chain, and design an awareness or micro-action campaign that connects local to global.

What Students Will Gain

Ecological literacy across six regenerative lenses — systems, soil, water, energy, materials & waste, and biodiversity
The ability to identify a real system, question its root causes, and design a genuine intervention
Project management: goal-setting, timelining, resourcing, and risk-planning
Real-world execution skills — carrying out a plan, adapting it, and evidencing its impact
Communication: research writing, interviewing, persuasive pitching, storytelling, and public presentation
A tangible, evidenced contribution to a system beyond themselves, at family, community, or global scale
